Laws extending pardons and amnesties for corruption and official misconduct were put forward, sparking protests across the country. The main goal of the project is scientific - developing criteria, analysis and evaluation of projects with good practices, related to new methods of learning, and thus supporting the exploration and studying of European countries, fighting against the stereotypes anti insecte and prejudices to Eastern Europe, actively including people over 55+ in social activities in the state and forming European consciousness in the contest of trans-national European cooperation for various target groups and educational institutions.

The authoritative international organization, which has a definitive voice in the higher education space in the Danube region was founded in 1983, and the University of Ruse is а long-time member, as well as the only Bulgarian University in it. In the period 2010-2012 the Presidency of this organization was held by the University of Ruse and its then Rector, COR MEM Prof.
He pointed out the fact that the higher school has had a long-standing experience in the projects about digitalization of education in Bulgaria and shared his satisfaction with the growing number of teams, working on this crucial task - digitization of modern society.

With our letter, allow us to express our gratitude for the opportunity for open access to the virtual library, developed by the University of Ruse, whose resources are aimed at improving the qualifications of lecturers in the field of digitisation of education.

Emilia Velikova, PhD from the Faculty of Education and Natural Sciences, and a Board member of the International Association Danube Networkers for Europe (DANET) e.V., presented the work of the Centre for Education of Third Age with the University of Ruse, focusing on cooperation between representatives of the three generations - high school and university students, lecturers and pensioners, expressed in their successful participation in internationally recognized European and national projects.
Since 2006 he has been Editor-in-Chief of the international journal "Transport Issues" (Scopus), he is a member of the editorial boards of several scientific journals, as well as a coordinator, chairperson, deputy chairperson and member of the programme committees of a number of international scientific conferences.
